Chelsea

29th May 2010
Arrived back in Mayo late last night after a couple of days in London to visit the Chelsea Flower show.
While these pictures have nothing to do with Mayo I thought I might share a couple of them with you.
Our trip started with the flight from Dublin to Stanstead on Ryan air. I always feel a little uneasy getting on an aeroplane so my feelings of unease were not helped when I noticed the registration number on our plane as we approached to board !!.

The Chelsea Flower show itself was great.

The indoor tent was amazing with fantastic floral arrangements and miniature gardens that looked like they are established for years.

There were plenty of photographers taking advantage of the opportunity to take photographs. This one seemed particularly engrossed in what she was doing.

On the journey home I was safely buckled into my seat when I was asked to move to let a Ryan air pilot sit in beside me.... in row 23!! . Anyway whoever was in the cockpit did a grand job and we landed safely in Dublin.

On the drive home last night there was a fantastic sunset so we stopped at Craughan in Roscommon to photograph. Craughan is an ancient site said to be the inauguration place for the kings of Connaught.
