Gentle breeze

14th June 2015
Lovely sunny day in Mayo. I have not been out with the camera for several days but I had an opportunity this morning. So I paid a visit to Lough Carra. Its the kind of place I go to when I am not sure where to go, or as in today, I am going at the "wrong time". By wrong time I mean , the sun was already too high in the sky for landscape photography, and I knew I would not be going out this evening when the sun would drop again. But Lough Carragh will usually give up some pictures, because there are always a few boats. So having got there today I must admit that I was still lacking any real inspiration. But then I spotted that this boat was moored up against the reeds and they were moving in the gentle breeze. So I decided to go for a slow shutter speed to show the movement. So this was taken at f22 with a six stop ND filter which resulted in an exposure of 8 seconds, just long enough !
