"My wild Irish Rose, the sweetest flower that grows"

This is a Burnet rose and was photographed on Sunday afternoon near Fanore in the Burren Co Clare. The rose was lit from behind by a low sun, so I held a white card in front of the flower ,just under the camera to reflect light back into it. The lighting really helps to separate the rose from the background.
