Power

Had a great day today. Patrick a photographer from Co Cavan came for a one to one photography training day. Patrick has been a few times before so really does not need a lot of training, but wanted to practice some water pictures using slow shutter speeds to show motion and high speeds to freeze action. The weather when we set out in the morning was pretty awful, we had planned to get the sunrise on Mulranny beach but the sun failed to appear and we had to run from the rain. We travelled to North mayo however and visited Downpatrick Head , the sea at Dunbriste was wild, and it was not raining! So we spent a couple of hours at the cliffs, the power of the water was just amazing, as can be seen in this image as it crashed around the inside of one of the caves.
