The rain and mist has stopped! Unfortunatly I was driving most of the day , as I travelled from Mayo to Cork to see my Mum. I did have to go via Salthill in Galway city and because it is wintertime there was parking on the sea front,(it would be much busier in the summer) so I stopped for a few minutes to photograph the beach. The construction you can see are the famous diving boards, and yes, it is February and that is a women swimmer climbing out of the water!! Despite the lovely winter sun this was the only picture I took today.

By George O' Malley: Eamomm hope your trip to Cork goes well and the weather will allow you to get out with the camera,interesting shot from Salthill I have never seen this diving platform, the wave and cloud look almost if they are in unioun nice capture.
