Scaffolding!!
18th August 2010
I had a great day today, out photgraphing all day! I spent the day on a one to one training day with Stephen. Stephen is actually a very advanced photographer, but he wanted to do some landscape work. The day started badly enough, we met at 7.30am in Mulranny and our first stop was Carrickahowley castle ( Rockfleet) It usually looks good in the early morning. We got to the castle only to find it covered in scaffolding!! So just to get the day going we stopped up the road and got out to explore any possibilities on the shore line, thing were progressing well when we heard the rain approaching on the calm water, we made a run for it but we could not outrun thr rain! Things got much better after that and we did a mini tour, stopping regularly to capture the scenes. Most were difficult enough in very harsh lighting and we both but the graduated neutral density filters to full use.
